How do I check all my subscriptions that I have?
The quickest way is to look at your bank or card statements, since every subscription shows up there as a repeating charge. Download three months or more as a CSV file, then drop it into the free statement check. It lists every subscription and repeating bill in seconds, with no signup.
Subscriptions are easy to lose track of because each one is small. Your statement lists every charge in one place, so that's where I'd look first.
Here's how I'd do it. Use your bank's website on a computer, because a lot of bank apps don't offer the download. Look for a Download button next to your transactions and pick CSV. Some banks call it Excel, Spreadsheet or Comma Delimited, and that's the one you want. Choose three months or more. The check needs at least two months of data to spot something repeating, so three gives it room.
It reads the CSV download, not PDF statements. If a PDF is all you see, keep hunting for the CSV option. Bank menus change, so if my steps don't match what you see, search your bank's help for "download transactions". I've also put step-by-step help for a handful of big banks on the check page, under "Where do I get this file?"
Two things you should know about the check. There's no signup and no bank login, and the file stays on your computer. If you use more than one card or account, grab a file from each so nothing hides in the one you forgot about.
When you read the results, you may see a charge called APPLE.COM/BILL. That's how Apple charges appear on bank and card statements, so it's worth a look at what you're paying Apple for.
Then comes the part only you can do. Bills are bills, but a subscription is something you can change. Go down the list and ask whether you used each one this month. Cancel what you didn't, and keep what earns its spot.
If you'd rather not redo this by hand every few months, that's what DonkeyBucks is for. You drop your statement in and your purchases get sorted into buckets. Pro flags price hikes and repeat charges and sends a weekly sweep email. Every new account starts with 30 days of Pro, no credit card required, and after that you drop to Free, which is $0, and keep all your data. Pro is $2.99 a month or $29 a year if you decide you like it.
Go download your statement and run the free check. The donkey will be proud.
